Sir Joseph Hood Challenge Cup
The Sir Joseph Hood Challenge Cup was presented by Sir Joseph Hood, President of the Society 1922-23, and was originally the prize for the Society’s Spring singles matchplay knockout (the earliest event). After the Second World War it became a prize at the Society’s meeting and is now awarded for the best handicap score at the Spring Meeting.
